Note about the GDP: Measurement of the historical series of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) from 2000 to date reassesses social services by applying tariffs that include profitability elements and better show the added value of these activities, taking into account that, given the characteristics of the Cuban economy and her social system, the health, educational, cultural, sports services have a final socioeconomic effect much higher than recorded expenses, which is the traditional calculation method for these activities.
